Your Life, As You've Known It, Has Collapsed - Try Manifesting Something Different

 Abrupt. That's been the shift from just bump-in-the-road problems to the realization that the life you've put together has fallen apart.


You might not only have lost your job but what's obvious is that you might have to create another approach to making a living. 

You're "only in your late 40s or 50s" but you sense your career has peaked. 

That relationship with your long-term partner never bounced back, did it. 

The golden years you've been enjoying - well, you no longer can afford them. Yet, don't only folks who didn't plan well have to unretire? OMG, you wonder: Have I become a loser?

That's what you have been telling me during the last 18 months. When the tarot or intuitive coaching session starts you're hoping all this can be fixed. 

Well, there are situations in which life can circle back to what had been. This is just a setback. 

Also, yes, parts can be repaired. For instance, to remain in your current career path you become willing to take a reduction in compensation and benefits. You and your partner are trying a separation, not heading straight to divorce. You can cut expenses and put off having to return to work at age 70.

But, more of you have to embrace that there's no retrieving what has been. Not even parts. For a growing number of us, this is a new world order. Nostalgia is a dangerous distraction. 

What do I recommend? Manifesting what is different. 

That could be conjuring up how laboring at something else can downright restorative. A fresh start. There will probably be several fresh starts. 

You've changed so what kind of partner would be a fit now? No longer do you have to chase the past.

Taking crazy jobs "at your age" orbits you into youthful-kind of adventures. When my industry went kaput post-9/11, I grabbed a security guard contract assignment in an inner-city big box. I was quite the crime-stopper. 

For the time being, ditch all the comparisons: 

What used to be pay and what pays less or not at all. 

Your old title and assignments which come with none of that. 

Young love and mature ways of developing caring. 

How you went about getting ahead on the job and when in unretirement that isn't the context any more.
