 The old adage was: You are blessed if you have a handful of friends.

Well, as Psychology Today explains, that blessing has become rare.

For adults it's becoming too difficult to develop close friendships. A major reason why is that with adulthood come responsibilities. Work eats up so much time in the 21st century. Then there are all the worries, especially with crime, addictions, and contagious diseasers. In addition, unlike the good old days in college, trust is less. 

So, we Tarot readers have drifted into the frienship space. So many of the sessions are filled with clients' disclosure. Yes, the kind of material shared in youth with trusted friends.

That triggers the questions. Together, we focus on the past, present, and future. 

On that mini journey the Three of Cups usually comes up. That signals joy. Interestingly exuding such joy can itself attract friends. Could that mean we Tartot readers lose them as clients? Sure. But since the world is so filled with the friendless, unfortunately, there will be myriad new clients replacing them.
