"Lilo & Stitch" - Story of Salvation

 Both orphan Lilo and rogue alien from another planet Stitch believe they are bad. You don't need a degree in criminal psychology to realize, in itself, that reinforces the antisocial. 

What they learn together in this blockbuster film is that it's their behavior that's bad, not themselves. Through the power of love, they both become capable of changing their behavior. 

As a result, Lilo escapes the foster care system. She's allowed to live with loving neighbors. Stitch gets to remain on earth. The government, both on this planet and what we're introduced to from another planet, shifts to being portrayed as able to recognize transformation. 

What has occurred would be described in Christianity as the gift of grace. Through grace, we are gifted with what we don't deserve. 

The trick is to be open to grace. In the tarot that's symbolized by the Death card. That's about the willingness to accept abundance. Notice that the horse has his hoof raised, poised to move forward.

  The Wall Street Journal fingers retirement for the epidemic of a loss of self among the aging.  However, the process can kick in as soon as anyone senses they are no longer young. Gone is their youthful self. Denying aging, they don't invest in creating a new self - and continually bringing up to date that identity. We Are All Paul Weiss - And Now We Are Different

 Paul Weiss has been the tipping point.  The Executive Order by the current administration - the third issued - got to us. How vulnerable we all are to power. Forget the grade school lessons about what America is about. Forget how university deans caved during our counterculture protests.  Yes, and forget "rights"  as being sacred. Here's what we now know. The key driven in that EO was that a lawyer who had been a partner at Paul Weiss years ago - Mark Pomerantz - had landed on the US President's enemies list.
