Is It Voodoo? Of Course Not, But Starving Realtors Suspect Black Magic

 "Did my sister-in-law throw a spell on me? I haven't sold a house in three months."

That's the most recent lament I have heard during Tarot readings with a realtor. Once she had it all and now her mindset essentially is: Should I stay or do I really have to start all over again in a new line of work?

MSN documents that it's projected that about 80% of current realtors will have to give it up and try earning a living doing something else. Already, there are 72,000 fewer realtors than there had been in 2022. 

The financial drought has been triggered by a combination of higher interest rates and new rules including those which can exclude the buyers' agent from sharing in the sellers' earnings. 

Meanwhile, as realtors struggle to make up their minds about holding on or not I recommend they join the rest of us in cultivating multiple sources of income. Soon enough the core competence of the day job might become unmarketable.
