Overheated - Tarot's Ace of Wands

"People go into therapy because some fiery energy - something too hot to hande - is fueling maladpative behavior or ravaging interpersonal relationships with no sign of slowing down." - From Chapter "Ace of Wands" in 2021 book TAROT FOR CHANGE by Jessica Dore.

We are bearing witness to that kind of overheating in this time when employers are pushing hard for "efficiency." Employees feel, well, it's all too much.

Here is a typical post on those professional anonymous networks. This one is from Reddit Big Law:

"What strategies are there to be a good junior when you're on several teams and very busy? Difficult to be responsive to the random urgent tasks when you're already drowning in other random urgent tasks."

Here is the thread.

As the responses to the post illustrate, some professionals can absorb both the demanding hours and the stress. They can cope.

You may not be among them. That's what you can find out in a Tarot reading. If the Ace of Wands card comes up it could flag you need to hunker down, find out about yourself, and accept that reality if how you earn a living is the right fit for you. Interestingly, in April 1, 2021, The New York Times published a major feature on how the Tarot is a tool for self-awareness and introspection.

After the Ace of Wands raises those issues the next card to come up could be the Eight of Cups or The Walking Away card. That's not easy. It is especially challenging if you embrace that your current profession is no longer a good fit. Here is my article, published in O'Dwyer's Public Relations, which provides guidance on career change.
